In COMPLETELY WHOLE, Paulette Harper offers keys to help those who are searching for answers that can lead to a life of complete wholeness: Spirit, Soul and Body. COMPLETELY WHOLE focuses on how to overcome suffering caused by alcoholism, substance abuse, poverty, and other obstacles blocking the path to a life of wholeness.
GBR Review:
It is with great excitement that I write this review of Completely Whole by Paulette Harper. Completely Whole offers a roadmap to wholeness through different steps such as forgiveness, understanding the true love of Christ, even affirming ourselves in Christ so we are motivated to endure the tests and trials that come with life.
I found Completely Whole to be incredibly resourceful and was captivated by the richness of each chapter. In essence, each chapter would be able to stand alone as they all give a well rounded solution to the hangups that many of us carry everyday.
Understanding the power of prayer, there is also prayer at the end of every chapter.
Much praise goes to Paulette Harper who is truly anointed and clearly heard from God before she put pen to paper! Well Done, Paulette!

ABOUT THE BOOK
In Secrets and Lies, Samaria Jacobs tried to seduce Dr. Jonah Morgan. Now she’s back in An Inconvenient Friend. Her creed is “If at first you don’t succeed, try…try…again.”
Samaria Jacobs has her sights set on Gregory Preston. A successful surgeon, he has just the bankroll she needs to keep her in the lifestyle that her credit card debt has helped her grow accustomed to. Samaria joins New Mercies Christian Church to get close to Gregory’s wife. If she gets to know Angelina Preston, she can become like her in more than just looks, and really work her way into Greg’s heart.
Angelina Preston’s life is filled with a successful career and busy ministry work, but something’s just not right with her marriage. Late nights, early meetings, lipstick- and perfume-stained shirts have her suspicious that Greg is doing a little more operating than she’d like. But does she have the strength to confront the only man she’s ever loved and risk losing him to the other woman
Just when Samaria thinks she’s got it all figured out, she finds herself drawn to Angelina’s kindness. Will she be able to carry out her plan after she finds herself yearning for the one thing she’s never had . . . the friendship of a woman?

Don’s little brother Joel continues as CEO, careening down the path of personal, professional, and spiritual demise, as he drags the ministry down with him. The only hope to save their father’s legacy is Don’s intervention, and so clinging to his self-worth and faith, Don is torn between fighting for a company he wasn’t chosen to run and fleeing back to his South African refuge, a place where his peace, his growing relationship with Naledi, and his dignity aren’t in question. After much soul searching, Don comes to realize that his destiny is inescapable and that his future lies in his family’s legacy.

BOOK REVIEW
Destined by Patricia Haley
Paperback, $14.00, ISBN- 978-1-4165-8603-8
Destined picks up where Chosen left off and follows the life and struggle of Don Mitchell. Don the rightful heir of a multi-million dollar ministry who was overlooked by his father who left the business to his younger brother, Joel. Needless to say, Joel is running the ministry into the ground. Like many of use who experience terrible rejection, Don flees the hurt and exiles himself to his home in South Africa. Don is faced with a decision to either stay away, or to intervene and save the ministry. Will he allow his hurt feelings to get in the way, or will he realize that his destiny is inescapable and this future lies in his family’s legacy?
One of the most poignant lines in the book was “God’s word didn’t change because of circumstances. Circumstances changed because of God’s word.” Destined is a book that displays the power of God at His best. I was encouraged to turn over my own current situations to God and let Him show up and show out!

Transformations: Give up the Struggle by Renee Wiggins
Paperback, $12.99, ISBN- 978-0-982-5613-0-0
GBR Rating- 4 (out o f5)
Transformations-Give Up the Struggle is a book of affirmations for anyone that has ever gone through something. Since that is everyone’s story, then all can truly identify with needing this book.
When I first picked up the book Transformations I was captured by the beauty of the cover. There was a sense of serenity that filled my spirit immediately and I quickly opened the book. Where I went on a journey of facing myself and all of the negative thoughts that have plagued me throughout my life.
Some affirmations that I have literally posted by computer is “Only your mind can set limits,“ and “Who I was yesterday, I am not today,” and “If I had not experienced pain, my passion would not have flourished.” Most of the affirmations are followed up by a written piece of wisdom from Wiggins that will help you move from a place of pain to glory.
I would have liked for the author to shed some light her own struggles in life and how she came to be free through these different affirmations, but this book is definitely one that all should have on their book shelf. Better yet, carry it around in your purse like I do so that you can refer to it whenever you need a "pick me up." Visit Ms. Wiggins online at: www.resultsbyrenee.com
